I think the OP called it correctly. I think they’re both very talented but Amy has the touch of genius. Her voice may not be as commercial as Adele’s but it was exceptional in my view.

One thing that annoys me is you can never have a coversation about Lionel Messi without someone saying Ronaldo is better or vice versa. They are both outstanding players leave it there

Adele is a good singer no doubt but Amy was a very special talent and in my opinion was miles ahead in terms of talent . Amy was like a female George Michael vocally and you can’t do much better than that .

Adele does have a great voice though. I just get a bit bored a few songs in whereas with Amy I could listen to her over and over.
