Just attended the uk signs awards in birmingham. Imagine my surprise when graffiti design picks up best multilevel signage award for 10plus employees for their work on the Amex community centre. Sorry to say I embarrassed myself with some undue cheering and handshaking. Another great night for the albion

Amex Community Centre? Is that next to the stadium then...? :)
Difficult to tell. Maybe if they put a sign up ...?

On the subject of which ... is there any other stadium in the country that has such poor signage to the Away End for visiting supporters arriving by train?

Seriously ... the signs at the Amex are a triumph of design over information. I guess they might win awards, but they don't seem to impress people who need to get around the place.

Have to agree with this, My sellers are located on the outer concourse leading up from the station and every game without fail they are asked "where is the away end".

Sadly that what happens if you start with something that will work, then pair it back to meet a budget and see if you can get away with it.

If the NSEW stands had a clue as to where they are in larger than 14 point it would also help
