Tonight, the Albion was a victim a moment ago of the usual Southampton bias to anything S'ton FC or Hants CCC. Yawn.

Nope, not checked all the channel's properly but I take it that's the channel for BBC Sussex?

No , there are two variants , South and South-East , one gives football news for Southampton and Pompey with a few seconds for BHA , the other gives football news for Charlton and Gillingham with a few seconds for BHA. Try channels 983 and 984 on the Sky epg.

It changes in 2012 when we go digital down here. Brighton TV will switch from South Today (news from Pompey, Scumhampton and Banbury) to BBC South East (Kent and Sussex).

The problem is Brighton is bang in the middle of the 2 regions , so all your local news will be centred on the Medway Towns and Dover from 2012 onwards if you're watching Freeview.

Serious? That is the best news i have heard in ages. Fed up listening to that Southampton drivel on a daily basis and have been for 32years! Its been a long wait but wow 2012 is gonna be a good year!
