Can someone who has been on a stadium tour confirm something that was sent to me via facebook?

Apparantly the steel for the north east and north west corner has already been fabricated and is currently being stored in an unused concourse area. I have asked if it is the same case for the east stand upper steel work but am yet to get a response.

I suspect if this was the case it would have been posted by someone else but thought i'd ask.

I don't think any steelwork is even required for either of those corners. There's no extra tier going in there - just seats.

My unreliable source tells me that all the steel is made from dried spaghetti.

It would make sense. I cannot believe we would just leave GAPPING holes in the stadium unless we were considering expansion as soon as possible. My hunch is that as soon as the club have proved the transport works then the application will go in.

Do you really think they might leave a door open on one of the concourses with the East Stand 2nd tier steelwork on display ?

The holes are there for the additional executive boxes

Thats a good hunch as it's exactly what the club has already said.

So, is there any pictures or plans of how the 'finished' stadium will look?

I think we can all safely assume that subject to the transport not being completely f***ed there will be an application to fill in the corners submitted before Christmas.

So I hope everyone can be sensible, for the first 6 months or so at least.

Steelwork would probably be required to support the pre-cast sections of the terracing: steel.png

Hasn't all the steelwork gone in and only needs the seats ? Look on the webcam and the corners are lined up with the current seating.

The north stand corners will just be seats but the south east corner will have a mezzanine floor put in above the seats and corporate boxes will be going in

I can't see what you mean
I can see a big hole below the OB box where more steelwork would need to go.

The image is from last year , it looks slightly different now. I got the stands mixed up so there will be a sub floor level
