Now to catch the bastards who set them off in front of the East Stand at the first four home games this season
The pat downs are a deterrent. Get caught trying to smuggle them in and it’s a ban. The biggest deterrent should be the naming and shaming, the lengthy ban and the fines, when caught detonating/holding/throwing the pyros within the stadium. Immediate arrest is one thing but the thought of a knock on the door weeks after the event should cause sleepless nights. My other thought was just how effective are the steward pat downs if Pyro is regularly getting in?
Or put another way should they even stop this in case they explode or am I showing my ignorance of pyros hereMy other thought was just how effective are the steward pat downs if Pyro is regularly getting in?
Whatever England is doing to combat pyros, it is far more effective than everywhere else.My other thought was just how effective are the steward pat downs if Pyro is regularly getting in?
Is it? What would your view be if he injured someone? A similar incident happened at St.Mary’s recently and a Saints fan suffered burns to his legs from a pyro that had been thrown, ironically, by a fellow Saints fan.Very harsh punishment
