I thought Poyet was 'off' Spurs?

Bloke from the club at a recent supporters club meeting basically said nobody knows for sure yet but went on to hint at 'think Gus' former clubs' and then said something like 'It could well be Spurs but it depends on their pre season plans'

Why? Just cause we knocked them out the Carling cup ?

excatly thats a stupid shout it 100% wont be them

but i heard Chelsea are playing in Copenhagen during their pre season dont know what time in the summer though

I'm pretty sure after the Lg Cup match there was talk of an agreement for City to come down and play the friendly - nothing's certain though.

Chelsea would be a good idea. They might at least pay Gus the respect of playing a reasonably competitive first team.

If any team isn't prepared to commit to doing that then tbh I would rather not bother

Not, as Lord B points out, that I will have a cat in hell's chance of getting a ticket

Couldn't care less don't want to waste my first experience of the Amex on a meaningless friendly against some prem teams reserve side.

That song you have in your signature is really shit, do you mind removing it?

its going to be Chelsea

I have heard this for months

Poyet spoke to Chelsea and invited them down

Well said SHAUN - With such CONVICTION too - always leaves you open for a nice bounce like this  LEARN from it!

PS - I think a few said Spurs - maybe they have GENUINE SOURCES?!?!?!?
