I'm in the minority but would also get a healthy option if there was one. Don't know what that'd be but "not beige" would probably be my starting point. Something easy to eat like a premade wrap would be fine - supermarkets do them in a meal deal so can't be expensive to make and hardly exotic. Obvs would have to be a beetroot or spinach infused wrap or might still fail the "beige" test.

You are avoiding too much gluten and saturated fats, yet you were happy to eat a takeway?

I mean, aren't they two things that the average takeaway is crammed full of?

Not especially - you can do it quite easily if you are careful

I thought there was some sort of healthy veggie option in the middle of the concourse. Never tried it because I’m at football = pie + pint.

Football matches take place at all kinds of weird times these days and sometimes these coincide with what might be considered meal times. I'm with the OP. Catering for people who might want a slightly healthier and tastier option than what's normally available at the Amex is not a bad idea and may even boost revenue for the club if it's done the right way. People who are happy with pies, burgers and hot dogs etc wouldn't need to be deprived of any of those things.
Well said. I dont see why those that like pies and burgers etc. need to miss out. Just cater for more choice and diet requirements.

It also depends on when the match is. Tomorrow having a pie in the evening feels OK, but I wouldn’t want one at 2pm on a Saturday. But there are other options I might go for then, rather than just nothing.

Swindon, but used to be Manila
I think there's a fish and chip 'wagon' outside between the club shop and North Stand. You can buy some fish and take the batter off. I bought some chips there but that needed a bank loan to cover 2 portions, so I only bought one! I'm sure they'd let you bring in a salad box or something like that into the ground. They allow Haribo's . :)
Get a second mortgage and you will be OK.......The most over priced expensive chippy I have ever had the please of not buying at.

Forest Green .....Chips and curry sauce lovely
oh and a pint of Brew Dog outside....cant get more healthy.
Queue for a beer outside the ground (none available inside) was ridiculous…….agree the chips and curry sauce were alright though.

Bloke and his young lad in our row (WSL) always have a rucksack of food for the game, pasta salads and suchlike. Expecting to see a wicker picnic hamper soon.
