My main card of use is an Amex and has been since long before the Albion tie-up.
It's a Virgin Atlantic card and so earns me miles which come in very handy at holiday time.
And, unlike [MENTION=15906]Colossal Squid[/MENTION] says above, I'd say it is accepted at 80-90% of the places I use it, including the places where I spend most - Tesco for shopping and fuel (and all other supermarkets and garages), and Amazon online.
Me too. Started off with the Virgin MasterCard in 2003 and switched to Amex when they stopped giving air miles on the MasterCard. Have transferred points from Hilton and Marriott and have had about £4400 worth of flights. Earlier this year they sent me £100 worth of Tesco Clubcard points.
