who gives a toss really. Millwall had thier chances but did not take them. We had ours and took them. Its nice knowing we took 6 points off Millwall and 4 points off the leaders this season.

We defended superbly and looked threatening on the counter. Millwall did give us a few problems, espically that wonderful cross into the box onto Harris head which was heading into the top corner but FDM pulled off a marvellous save. I don't think we got mugged off, but we deserved abit of fortune at last and that is what is needed in a survival battle.

It was a game of 2 halves! Millwar should've been a couple up at half time, but they couldn't manage it. Second 45, we definitely looked the more dangerous side & took our chance.

Thus, I'd say it was a case of 0-0 & they f***ed it up.

We deserved to win, but largely thanks to the fact Millwall were completely incompetant. Michel kept us in it in the first half, and they were clueless after the break. A welcome and deserved three points most certainly, but we didn't really play any better or worse than we have done recently.

We played a whole lot better, we challenged for balls further up the field, instead of backing off, and we tried to find space and men with balls out of defence rather than the pointless hoofing it up to no one so that it comes straight back.

It was our counter attacking that kept their back 4 from pushing up and piling on more pressure.

As Freddy Goowin said, we played a hell of a lot better than we have. The main thing was that the defence looked confident, and easily able to cope with almost everything Millwall threw at them - the fact that we reduced a side with promotion aspirations to a few mostly scrappy chances is a real achievement. Furthermore, this was helped no end by the fact that for the first time in a while we held the ball up in front of the back four and chased every ball on the park.

You can't over-estimate how important Virgo was in the last 15 minutes - he was on top of every Millwall player in their half and that really restricted their attacking threat. Jarrett was the real lynchpin though - he is our only midfielder who really looks confident enough to take the ball down under pressure and use it, rather than giving it to the opposition or hoofing it and inviting another attack.
