Just a hint, but if you didn't pay for a ticket in advance, you didn't win.

I think you should inform some public authority POlice or even Watchdog etc.
If they clear collect your fortunes.

Otherwise expect your account to be milked.:nono:

They're only asking you to stump up 1% of your winnings.

Send them € 2,547 and check them out.

Thanks I'll get right onto it

Tell you what, Icy Gull ...

Send me £100 and I'll get onto them on your behalf.

I'm afraid I won't be able to give you a refund if I'm unsuccessful.

This just keeps getting better and better, how lucky am I?

We get plenty of these at work. We've always binned them but recently I saw a piece in the paper by the Police asking to foreward them so they can compile a case for the serious crime squad!

I wouldn't recommend that though. I think standing up in court against these people will shorten you life expectancy somewhat.

Saw a superb article the other week in which they described a group of people woh were conning the Nigerian 419'ers. Someone wrote back to on of them saying they would love to send them money but they could only give money to fellow members of the 'church of the red hand' and to join they had to paint a red hand on their left breast. They now have loads of pictures of this guy with his chest painted bright red looking extremely stupid. apprently he's also converted his 'family' to join the church :lolol:

If I can find the link I'll post it here.

At this rate I'll soon be able to get rid of potless Dick, I have just been advised that I have now won USD5.5million in a South African lottery.

Can you sort this one out too Lord B, I'm too busy drawing up my Albion takeover bid :clap2:

It's called an "Up Front Fee" scam. These used to originate almost exclusively from Canada, Nigeria and Holland. But now they seem to operate world-wide.

What has always amazed me is that legit call centres and mail box addresses are usualy sucked in to act as a buffer for the perpetrators.

A few years ago we uncovered 32 different UFFC operations all being run by the same guy from 32 different PO addresses in Montreal. About 12 months later the same guy was at it again ... this time in Vancouver ... and all the while picking gullible British victims.

Pass it on to your local trading standards people ...
