Its time for my left winger to be named. He played before my time but I'm sure many of the more mature Albion suporters remember him with fondness. He was signed by Brian Clough and Peter Taylor and was a big help to Peter Ward during his record breaking season. He played a total of 122 games and scored 31 goals. He also scored a hat trick in that famous Ward 4 Mellor 3 thrashing 7-0 of Walsall on 5 October 1976. It could have been the other way around as one shot hit both posts and Wardy put the loose ball in the net. He played under Brian Clough/Peter Taylor, Peter Taylor and Alan Mullery so I assume that counts as three different managers.

If nothing else he deserves a place due to this -

Category 1 - Has played for Brighton at least 50 times. BRIAN HORTON
Category 2 - Has been promoted with Brighton
Category 3 - Has received a full International cap during his career. GARY STEVENS
Category 4 - Has been relegated with Brighton
Category 5 - Has never played in the Top English Division
Category 6 - Played in at least 4 different seasons for Brighton JOHN KEELEY
Category 7 - Has never been promoted or relegated with Brighton KURT NOGAN
Category 8 - Has been loaned to Brighton WAYNE BRIDGE
Category 9 - Has scored 10 or more goals in a season for Brighton GLENN MURRAY
Category 10 - Has played under 3 different managers during his Brighton career IAN MELLOR
Category 11 - Has played a home game for us at two or more stadiums

Damn you! Damn you!

Spider was on my left wing. Damn you!

Can I buy him off you? Are transfers for cash allowed in this game?

Hmm, this is a tricky decision at this point.

I think that I will go with one of the most entertaining defenders I've seen in the stripes, and with Buckley already in my side I know that the right hand side of my team can cause anyone problems. Admittedly it perhaps means an over-emphasis on the right hand side but, nevertheless, Bruno Saltor

Right, I'm back in, and catching up. I'll have Andrea Orlandi.

Flair player with a good football brain. Can play in the centre and out wide.

Getting towards the end of the draft and there's still a striker who scored 50 goals in 150 games.

This man played for us for one season. He played 49 times and bagged 26 goals on the way to promotion.

He then went on to lift the FA Cup, the European Cup Winners Cup and the Charity Shield as a manager and coach.

He is DAVE SEXTON.
