Not at all. Its not that I think Adams will do BADLY. Its that I think Wilkins was ALREADY doing well and building a good team and deserved to be treated better and not replaced in a PR stunt.

Why do you love Wilkins so much. He had a very mediocre record. I just do not understand it. If he had got us promoted and then been sacked fair enough or the way Lewes treated their manager but to achieve nothing in 2 years with plumetting gates and s tyle of football the public did not want to watch you would have thought the penny might have dropped that Knight as a business man would act which he has done.

I can't remember Richie's stance on McGhee but it seems to me that everyone that Liked McGhee didn't rate Wendy and all those that hated McGhee loved Wendy.

Me me me. Can everyone pay attention to me. It's not fair this Adams bloke getting all the attention so I've started my own controversial thread so you can all focus on ME.

Grow up Morris. :censored::tosser:

I am not sure what matches you watch Uncle S but the team I have been watching this season WINS home matches and keeps the ball down on the floor and has a defence capable of playing the ball out from the back.

The team under McGhee used a LONG diagonal ball to one of a series of big centre fowards and rarely won at home...

And now those who Liked 'Wendy' are annoyed by the appointment and those who liked Mcghee are delighted by it!?

Starting a revolution from my bed
Chairman Dick Knight explained, "This decision has not been taken lightly, but the Board feel we need a manager with the wealth of experience to help the club make the leap into the Championship.

"Dean's strengths lie in coaching and the development of players and that is why we have offered him the role of senior coach under Micky."

DK is spot on with what he says. Adams will bulster crowds, improve team performences and bring back that sense of excitement around the club that dissapeared when he left and made us Brighton and Hove Albion. The man has spirit oozing through him.

Morris, why are you so anti-Adams? This club was never so united as when Micky was manager. The chairman, board, manager and coaches were all pulling in the same direction and there was a real "spirit" about the club. That's the sort of unity teams who win championships need.

I've just woken up and am absolutely shocked at the news, but at the same time delighted. Talk about a bolt from the blue!

Adams for me was the best manager we have had since I have been supporting the club. Wilkins is a good coach but it has been said many times before and I think it is apparent in his interviews, he is not a great people person.

A good decision and I am so excited!

Micky Adams blue and white army! :ascarf::ascarf::ascarf::albion2::ascarf:

While I agree with Richie it's hard to take his posts seriously when he starts doing all that random words in capitals shit. Very try hard and most annoying. Even the NSP crew seem to be losing interest with that so not sure why he's even doing it anymore.
