I started to watch but couldn't be arsed to see it through. Another muppet who appears to only have signed up to NSC in April this year and has the audacity to tell me how much better we are now. No shit! Perhaps you could do a video of the mid 90s as to how shit we were then and how far had improved by 2004. Gus has the luck of getting his hands on the team when he knew the stadium was being built. Previous managers did not have that. He had the benefit of TB's deep pockets and the investment to ensure we kicked off at the Amex in the Championship. Can you tell me whether the video includes the 6-0 drubbing against West Ham or the match at Forest where we had one chance and took it and other than that were encamped in our own half.

You might have spoken to them but I bet you didn't listen! The end of year report should read the club have exceeded expectations but that with a little more effort could well have been in the play-offs. If you can't see that then you're a blind fool who'll probably spend their whole life just looking over your shoulder to see where you've been rather than where you could go.

I don't concur with Pork Pie that 4pts from the last 7 games made the season a total flop but it was certainly an opportunity that we somehow allowed to pass us by.

Quality,really shows how far the Clubs has come from the "Great Escape" from relegation with Russell Slade to the dizzy heights of the upper tier of the Championship.I have loved this first Amex season and can't wait for August to do it all over again only better! Come you Seagulls!

To be fair, that video doesn't really provide a fair representation because it's bad moments at the Withdean vs Good moments at the Amex. Hardly a 'football transformation' as the video suggests. Where's the 6-0 battering we received from West Ham in the video? Obviously we do play much better football than we did, but we should do with the amount we spent in the Summer

Well, I for one definitely do.

Ok we have managed mid-table in our first season back. At the start of the year, we would have probably taken that.

HOWEVER, we had every chance of making the playoffs until the last few matches. Something like four points from the last seven matches can be considered nothing less than a total flop.

If that were at the start of the season, we would have been demanding major changes.

Did you actually go to the Withdean and watch us play before Gus came along? I bloody wonder.
If you ask me we over achieved this season and am more than happy with the way it went.
