With 18 days left of the transfer window, these helicopter guys could very well be some other deal ? ???

Could be, we have a few (over enthusiastic) fans who keep tabs on the Thais helicopter movements, today this coincided with Alireza's movements. Although they apparently went to a golf course in Redhill and came back, which would tie in to perhaps meeting both representatives? Honestly I shrug, I have no idea now!

Ince didn't last long at 'Uddersfield

That's what happens when you sign a Championship player in the Premier League. To be fair to Huddersfield they did the right thing in a way as if they had gone down he is a decent player at Championship level but comes across as a mercenary and has failed a couple of times now to get to the highest level.

I think you'll find the aerodrome is in Redhill, if they went to Redhill golf club they'll never want to play the game again.......

AZ breaks transfer record: 'But we're not going to do crazy things'
Monday, July 23, 2018 at 7:05 am

AZ is about to sell Alireza Jahanbakhsh for around 25 million euros to Brighton & Hove Albion. The attacker thus becomes the most expensive outgoing transfer of all time for the club from Alkmaar and so seems director football business Max Huiberts with a full wallet looking for a new attacker.

In an interview with De Telegraaf , the sports director acknowledges that the position of AZ will become 'stronger', but that the club will not always collect transfer fees in their entirety. "Percentages are available for other parties involved, which is really considerable for some transfers. Moreover, these transfer revenues are incidental and not structural. "

The fans do not have to expect 'crazy things' in the transfer area. Huiberts emphasizes that he will only reach players if they fit within the 'vision and budget' of AZ. One such footballer is the 26-year-old Björn Johnsen, but the negotiations with ADO Den Haag about a transition from the Norwegian international have not yet yielded the desired result.

"The negotiations are stuck. Of course we also have some other options, including players who are less known to the general public. We are busy with it. "For the time being Fred Friday is the first striker of AZ and Huiberts emphasizes that the Nigerian knows a good preparation and impresses coach John van den Brom . "He shows why we brought him to the Netherlands two years ago. Hopefully he will keep this line. "

11p to the first person who spots a pundit saying words to the effect of:-

'£25m is a lot of money to pay for someone who didn't feature in the World Cup'.

Fred Friday, what a great name for a striker
Almost as good as Alf Tupper

'Silver fleet for NEC: upcoming top transfers certainly deliver 1.5 million euros' Monday, July 23, 2018 at 08:42

The upcoming million transfer from Alireza Jahanbakhsh is good news for NEC. The Nijmegen club can count on more than one million euros.

That is what Omroep Gelderland reports . Jahanbakhsh will almost certainly switch to AZ for Brighton & Hove Albion, which pays 25 million euros. NEC benefits because of a resale percentage, which was stipulated when Jahanbakhsh was sold to AZ three years ago. In addition, NEC receives a training allowance.

The 25 million AZ will receive for the Eredivisie top scorer from Iran is a club record. The Alkmaar club received three million euros less for Vincent Janssen (Tottenham Hotspur) two years ago.

Limbombe
NEC can count on more financial windfalls this summer, because Anthony Limbombe is about to leave Club Brugge for Huddersfield Town. That amount can go up to at least half a million euros due to a resale percentage. Limbombe (24) played in Nijmegen between 2014 and 2016.
