I'm sure i am not the only person on here who thinks he is by far our best midfielder.

His loan deal must be coming to an end soon and something needs to be sorted about his future with the Albion.

I am extremely worried that we will be unable to offer him a good enough deal to keep him here long-term seeing that we are unable to offer new deals for the likes of Cullip/Knight/McGhee.

Also, other managers will have been taking note on how well he is performing and the fact he will be available on a "free" is bound to attract interested from other parties who may well be able to offer him a better deal. :nono:

Who else thinks we will struggle to hiold on to him or has anybody any info as to whether we are trying to make his deal permanent?

I fear he won't stay due to our current situation - smacks of Sidwell all over again :nono: :nono:

I'd go as far as saying if we lose him we'll be going down, we can't replace a player of that quality... He must be signed on a longer deal even if it's only a loan til May.

I am sure I read somewhere that McGhee's budget for this season isn't affected and that negotiations were already in progress for a season long loan and possible purchase?

Dick said he'll do his best, and that's good enough for me.

If we cant offer Cullip/Knight/McGhee longer deals, i cant see us affording one for Nico.

That's at the end of this season and depending onthe public inquiry outcome - nothing to do with this season.

Another team could come in and offer him a two year deal as opposed to a season long one which would make a difference.
