alcoholic punch recipe

ok its party time.
Looking for a good punch recipe.
Party will be mainly 30/40 age group so don't need the teenage litre of vodka mixed a with litre WKD suggestions.
but I am looking for something nice fruity and reasonably strong. preferably with Vodka.
something subtle that will creep up and take a few by surprise.

Ok. Get some very good ginger beer. Get some white rum. Get some crushed mint. Get some crushed iced. Mix it. Get it down you. Then get your mutha funkin groove on you crazy cat. Cool. Oh and for the fruity bit . . . Lime cordial or freshly squeezed if your feeling hip.
