but my favourite of 2008 has sunk without trace:

Wagonwheel Blues by The War On Drugs. Best debut for decades imo! Great live show, as noisy as My Bloody Valentine.

Elbow is a very enjoyable album.

Fleet Foxes was great.

Jamie Scott was a breath of fresh air this year.

No it was a bit weird as it appeared they were starting to become more well known, and then suddenly they announced they were splitting. A bit strange really.
