[Misc] Albion Windows

On Saturday me and Mrs.Punal were driving to stay at our daughter’s house in Croydon.

En route, that is close to our final destination, I spotted to two vans both were advertising Albion Windows and the logo was a blue and white striped shirt. The phone number was London area. Now, I wondered, was the company owned by one of us loyal and devoted Seagulls fans? A further bit of research found that they are indeed based in Croydon, and with a showroom in Bromley.

Can anyone shed any light on this possible club connection or could it just be pure coincidence?

Shhhh...

It is the guy who was my next door neighbour...

He wanted to start out on his own in the DG market and in one long chat over the garden fence he was struggling for a brand name...he 'was' a WBA fan but it was yours truly who named his firm 'Albion Windows'.

We no longer live adjacent to each other but he is a nice guy. I think his boy trialled at the academy.
