Fiveways
Bart 6 -- not much to do
Veltman 8 JMotM -- he was brilliant defensively today
Webster 8 JMotM -- snuffed Watkins out
Dunk 7.5 -- some great long balls today, read the game well
Igor 7 -- solid
Gilmour 7 -- kept things ticking over; his corners were good
Gross 7
Buonanotte 6 -- good at pressing but didn't do much with the ball
Adingra 8 JMotM -- had Konsa on toast, so many openings came down that side courtesy of him
Joao Pedro 7 -- some really good stuff in there
Welbeck 6

Subs:
Enciso 8 -- his best performance since returning from injury
the rest n/a

Verbruggen 6 - Kept a clean sheet, but didn't really have much to do.
Igor 7.5 - Defensively solid, thought he was really good today.
Dunk 7 - I think he had a minor slip-up, apart from that looked composed.
Webster 8 - I know he made a few small mistakes but stood out to me because of his major improvement, after all the criticism.
Veltman 8 - Thought he did really well today, defensively solid.
Gilmour 7.5 - Made us look sharper in midfield compared to recent times, a much better player than Lallana.
Gross 6.5 - Missed a golden opportunity, few good passes here and there per usual.
Buonanotte 6 - Didn't really focus on him, not sure if he had a presence in this match.
Adingra 9 (MOTM) - Best player for me, looked like he wanted the win the most, and that radiated onto the other players.
Pedro 7 - Got his goal, albeit a missed penalty, feels like he needs to be more clinical but some positive runs today.
Welbeck 6.5 - Didn't focus on him either, unfortunately, but he's always a great playmaker.

Enciso 7.5 - Looked promising today, I think he still needs to improve in some aspects to regain his old form but positive signs are there.
Moder 6 - Didn't really focus on him so just gave an average rating.
Barco 7 - Bit of shithousery at the end, not much to talk about, however.
Baleba 6 - Same as Moder.

RDZ 9 - Was in a difficult position before the match, but showed his passion on the touchline, showing the fans he does care for this football club.

Not sure that Veltman gave us any more than Dunk especially going forward. WBG played well and the introduction of Enciso fired up DW and JP, the rest of the team and the crowd. A very well managed and deserved win.

I’d give Bart 7, give Webster 9, drop Gilmour down to 6 and give Adingra 9 but otherwise same.

Bart - 7 Did what he needed to do and dealt with a tricky free kick well when he could have been wiped out
Veltman - 7.5 Doesn't give us the width of a marauding RB/RWB, but gives us stability when defending so when pragmatism is required (not an RDZ trait) he's a shoe in!
Dunk - 7.5 Sprayed some great balls and back to his usual solid self
Webster - 8 MOTM Still gets vilified for the occasional misplaced pass, but others did the same and don't get the same stick. 27 appearances in our stunning season last year is enough for me....
Igor - 7 Still don't understand the haters, solid and loves a run with the ball. Positionally better than of late, but that's probably down to playing in an experienced back 4
Gilmour - 7 Tenacious and kept things ticking over - could be better once someone like Baleba gets up to speed to solidify the middle of the park
Gross - 7 Just did Gross things and much better than of late
Adringa - 7.5 Scared the living daylights out of Konsa and most good play came from him. Final ball/shooting needs to be more consistent, but peach of a cross late on
Buonanotte - 6.5 Tenacious just like WBG and hounded well - there's a player in there and I'm not convinced that a loan to the Championship might have been better for his development, but needs must.
Welbeck - 7 Showed his vast experience - shame about the looping header

Enciso - 7.5 Lively, sped the game up and made a difference - let's hope he kicks on next season
Moder, Baleba and Barco - all 6.5 as not much time to influence

RDZ - 8 a little more pragmatic today and right to pick an experienced 11

I’d give him a 7 but not much more. Brilliant overall game but his shooting was just horrible, that’s what wins matches.
Think this is a bit unfair. He had a lot of shots, which in itself is a good thing, and some were tame but some were down to good goalkeeping.
