From highlights looked like Swansea missed 3/4 sitters. Is the 2-0 score a fair reflection of game

Swansea definitely should have scored.

At half time and 2-0 up we looked fairly comfortable, however for the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half Swansea should have tucked away one of their chances to make the game more nervy. They didn't, and in the end we just managed out the game with Swansea not posing much of a threat in the latter stages.

In the end I'd say we deserved the win purely because we showed more quality, although you could understandably tell that the team was disjointed.

Were the Swansea fans giving Connolly a hard time?
If they were then cupping his ears is fine by me, but some of the things that players do these days do annoy me and running up to the away fans is one of them, it is good enough that he has scored against them, when our opposition do it to us it really annoys me, it is childish.
Also all this holding fingers up in the air and looking to the skies for something, it seems that once one player does it, they all follow like sheep.
Another is when they score a goal and then thank God, we'll I don't see them giving him the finger when they miss an open goal from 6 yards.
I am not disagreeing with what you say, it's not that important to get so angry about it, it's just that I wish the players would grow up and be a bit more professional rather than goading the away fans and of course it's even worse when they do it to their own fans, just let their football do the talking, I would rather they got a yellow for that and not because they took their shirt off which does no harm.

All goal scorers should just do this.

Last night at the end of the game i still could not believe that Swansea ended goalless ! In fact even this morning when i woke up i expected to read on here about how we had lost the game 3 - 2 !
But i suppose that is football all over and possibly why we love the game so much .In the end the result is what matters and there was the bonus of seeing Tariq back on the pitch , AC back among the goals , and some of our younger players in the action . For me personally i thought Sarmiento when he came on looked good .
Finally although Steele made a couple of very good saves his distribution last night left a lot to be desired , my mate was nearly apoplectic about his inability to simply roll the ball to his left !!

Form goes awol in a rivalry game. I fully expect us to lose to a deflected shot off Edouard, and the pests to invade this board for weeks. :dunce:
If they win, that annoying Milo kid or whatever his name is, will be on here from Monday evening for months on end.

On the other hand, if we win, he won't notice if the admins change his username to "Boring Plastic Nìgel Gobshite" as he won't be logging on any time soon.

Is that really what some on here are pissing their panties over?

AC runs across the front of the away fans with this hand to his ear.

Some of you really need to take stock, and perhaps take a break, if you are seriously upset about that sentence.

I don't imagine any of you are fully formed adults and this is just the little ones attempting to find their way in the world.
If you are an actual working, bill paying, beer drinking grown up I despite.

I actually thought it was a fairly half-hearted cupping of the ear as well…… as if he realised there was no one there to cup the ear to anyway.

Two good goals as well……. Particularly the second. And I’m not a Connolly champion, just would like to see him do well.

It may not have been the bestest game in the whole wide world ever, and perhaps Swansea should have takken their chances-but they didn't we won, and thats great

It was a team with players making a comeback after injury, some playing for the first team for the very first time, and some playing for only the second or third time. It was a team that in all probability have never played together before or will do again

Not that many negatives really, Tariq came through, and showed he still has pace and a deft touch, the new guys played well and didnt look out of place, Turns and Sarimento were first team debutants I believe ,looked pretty good and would seem to have a good future with us, no one looked out of place in the stripes, and Locadia showed a much trimmer version and had some nice touches showing a bit of skill on the wing in front of us

There were a few mishaps in defence, and the youngsters were tiring towards the end, but all in all a good run out against spirited opposition.

It was nowhere close to a starting line up in the Prem, so we can't read to much into how that relates to a league match anytime soon , but I think it bodes well for the future

So basically, apart from the two goals and Dan Burn's(?) shot, it was all one way traffic, wave after wave of Swansea attacks then?

You'll probably get more action at a Cotswolds 'Barber' jacket convention

Or the editing gimps at Sky couldnt be assed.....
