Albion V Millwall highlights football league show Adam El Abb and Christ Woods

I always thought Christ Woods was a good player and at the time when we had him hopped we might sign him and woundered why we seemed to let him leave with what looked like little effort to keep him.

looking at he highlights of yesterday's game I noted when their player gets sent off a bit of hand bags between Woods and Adam shortly after Woods last min attempt is saved Adam is first to pat the keeper right in front of Woods.

Could it be Woods personality did not fit in with the rest of the team?

At the end of the match Adam and Woods had a "discussion" which required steward and ref intervention.

I thought Woods always seemed very happy and integrated with our squad. He just isn't very good, and showed that with all but one of his touches yesterday.

El Abd was the first to face up to Taylor after his challenge on Kuszczak, Wood pulled him away from that, which upset adam, that's why they were having a thing in the background of the sending off. I imagine it was simply a case of standing up for their own team mates than any particular clash dating back to his time with us.

I thought El Abd winding up their defender prior to scoring from the corner was hilarious

Wood was a handful as a striker when he was with us but way too slow.

AEA is worth the ticket price alone, just for his "Mr Innocent" wind-up of opposition
