Albion U21s are back in action this evening as they host WBA at the training ground. Albion have just five matches left in the "regular season". With the new format of Premier League 2 this campaign, the top 16 clubs (in only one division) make the play-offs, in which the higher-placed team has home advantage and the 1st-placed team hosts the 16th-placed team and so on, so every position counts.

Albion currently sit 8th but teams below them have gmes in hand so every point matters at this stage. The Throstles sit 19th with 8 fewer points than Albion.

Goalkeeper Steven Hall, who has been called up to the Australian U-23 ("Olyroos") squad for the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) U-23 Championships in Saudi Arabia later this month, makes his first Albion appearance. Ruairi McConville (called up to the Northern Ireland U-21 squad) starts at right-back. No Samy Chouchane or Mark O'Mahony.
Brody Peart makes his first appearance in the squad (on the bench) since December:-

Hadn't heard of Hall before - he's probably been mentioned somewhere, but I've missed it. On the club website though - from Australia.
