Albion try so hard not to curl a ball across the goal mouth all evening - finally do it (probably a lecture about not risking losing the ball from the coaching team to come!) But hey - three or four passes too few, bad winger! ....... but it's 1-0 to the Albion!

Great finish - huge goal considering the group and fixtures…

Amazing what happens when you get the ball in the box.
Simmonds could be some player. Samuels again impressed me, either I'm seeing things that aren't there or he must be close to the first team squad.

.....or a half season loan to League1 or 2?

Incredible. I went into club site to buy a guest ticket and saw an U21 game was on. In 3/4 minutes left I saw Swansea miss 3 goals and Albion score the winner

Tough conditions, momentum seemed to be with the wind each half. Some good performances tonight, liked Simmonds again, Howell had a quiet one, but you can see his quality in tight spaces. Scrappy game and Swansea left it in on a few players. Smith and O’Mahony with a lovely combo for the goal, Smith has really impressed me in the last few U21 games, which is a surprise as he did at times look lacklustre when I saw him play for Worthing a few times. Nilsson another player who’s impressed me recently really adaptive on the right hand side. Good to also see Offiah get more minutes, and hopefully a loan move for the second half of the season (although don’t know the rules with having played for U21 and Hearts, whether it counts as two teams in a season, sure @AZ Gull can assist us).

I’m certain that U21 games don‘t count (except for EFL Trophy games, which are technically senior matches).

Agree on Nilsson. Really surprised he’s never made the senior bench, in the periods when we’ve been desperate for full backs.

I don't THINK U21 matches count, so I hope we can finally find him a loan, health problems notwithstanding. Maybe loans for one or two others too. Samuels perhaps, maybe Hinchy, Duffus? Seem the most likely ................. interesting times. Nine days to go.........!
