Congratulations to Albion academy U-15 goalkeeper Liam Doyle who has been called up to an England U-15 training camp.

Liam only joined Albion towards the end of last season at U-14 level after an unsuccessful trial at Chelsea. He attends Bede's School in Upper Dicker.

We’ve got Harry Howell and Freddie Simmons in the England U16s too. Also Shim Mheuka is in England u18s who came up through Albion academy but got poached by Chelsea.

I see a massive prospect in there but can't quite work out why there are no Palace kids there given their awesome academy and transition to the next level. Perhaps all their U15s are in the U18s to make it fairer.
