No, Napier was sold within the first few months of the disastrous 1972/73 season. Sadly, Binney didn't make it with us to the Second Division.

I really liked Connor. He was often a target of the boo boys (sound familiar) but had tremendous pace and although not the greatest finisher he always made defenders nervous with his work rate. I think we paid about 240k for him didn't we so not a cheapie in those days.

I think it was a straight swop with Andy Ritchie in 1982/83. £240,000 value sounds about right. There are some tremendous, spectacular finishes of his on YouTube against Swansea and Bristol Rovers, to go along with his clinical finish against Liverpool, of course.
