Kit Napier?
No, Napier was sold within the first few months of the disastrous 1972/73 season. Sadly, Binney didn't make it with us to the Second Division.
Kit Napier?
...to those whom were not part of the glory years. One never seems to hear him held in such high regard, unless I am listening to the wrong people.
I really liked Connor. He was often a target of the boo boys (sound familiar) but had tremendous pace and although not the greatest finisher he always made defenders nervous with his work rate. I think we paid about 240k for him didn't we so not a cheapie in those days.
Murray has to be on the list along with Forster
Mike Tiddy, Bill Curry, Jimmy Langley, Roy Jennings, Glen Wilson? Just racking my brain for 1950s Albion players I've heard of....
Yup. Bill Curry (26), before he formed Ultrvox and Visage.
The other was Tony Nicholas (22).
