Huge congratulations to Pascal. He's been brilliant this season and has been consistently one of our top performers for the last 3 seasons. What he decides is best for his family and his kids schooling is an individual parenting decision and I don't think it's a relevant discussion to be having here.

Think we can say though, I hope he stays at least one more season. He isn't the sort of player you can just go out and replace

I would imagine Mitoma has gone back to Japan as there is no prospect of him playing before pre season. Personally I see the point of us having Category A facilities as a reason foreign players would stay here while injured to get their rehab done as quickly as they can, but the world doesn't seem to work like that now.
The injured players have all gone to Germany, presuming this is the new medical team sending them to a specialist place. None of them were at the awards last night.

Has Pascal ever won POTS with us before? Struggling to remember all the previous winners during our PL era. Caicedo and Cucurella the last two but I can't recall whether he may have won it during the Hughton years.

The honours for Gross are totally deserved. He has put in consistent top performances in the best league in the world. We have been very lucky to have such a great servant at the club and it will be a very sad day when he decides to go home. It comes as no surprise that he puts his family first and if he and his wife think their kid should be educated in Germany, then I'm sure he will go. I hope it's not "yet" but if it is, I'm sure we will always remember a great player who will forever be assured of a warm welcome at the Amex.

I prepared myself for Sunday being the last time I saw him play for the Albion as I'm not around for Chelsea or United. I'd clearly love him to stay, but I don't think anyone would deprive him the opportunity to go elsewhere for whatever reason it might be.

Legend is an overused term, but the difference that guy has made in our PL-era history has been way more than enough to earn that accolade. Last night's awards prove his worth to the club and the players. My favourite ever Brighton player and I can't ever see anyone else taking that title. The fact that Calde – my second-ever favourite player – scouted him is the cherry on the icing on the cake.

Vielen dank, Pascal :albion:

Random question....
On the ending credits of the night, the club gave special thanks to Stacey Murray (Glenn's missus), but what association has Mrs Murray got with the club?

This and the sound track works perfectly, whenever I hear that song it the first thing I think about - watching that at the Amex on the big screens is easily one of the top non-game Amex highlights for me.
what was the song title

The three previous winners have all left the club shortly after collecting the award, but Pascal has another year on his contract and is planning for a coaching career to come, with the help of Albion Head Coach Roberto De Zerbi. “I passed my UEFA B Licence,” he said. “At the moment I’m learning every day from my coach and we’re lucky to have him. He has been massive. I wanted to be a coach all my life because I love football so much I want to stay involved. Meeting him helped me playing, coaching, everything.”
