This year’s Albion Collectors’ Fair and Auction is being staged in the Hospitality Suite at Withdean Stadium on Sunday, 22nd November. Admission is free.

The fair opens at 11am. Supporters will be able to browse and purchase from thousands of programmes, pictures, books, posters, DVDs, fanzines, etc. You name it, it’s likely to be there – and at low prices!

The fair will be followed at 1pm by the ever-popular auction of Albion memorabilia, which is likely to have its usual eccentric mix of rarities and bargains, all in the exciting atmosphere of a live auction.

Proceeds from the day support the work of the Albion Collectors’ and Historians’ Society, which has been charged with providing a club museum at the new Community Stadium.

To enter items into the auction, or to book a table to sell Albion memorabilia, please PM me. Further information and the auction catalogue will be found at www.AlbionHistory.org.uk.

Here here, well worth the fiver. Last year I bought the whole set of gulls eye fanzine in the auction. A bargain too
ah Gulls Eye, I remember that one, at the height of the fanzine boom, used to love that...
I always thought On The Terraces was the cream of the crop before that fancy laser printing malarky came in, they used to give away On-U Sound Barmy Army flexidiscs - "I don't know what I've been told, Leroy's boots are made or gold", Tackhead in the area...

I've got something that is priceless in a way, something totally unique to the last game at the Goldstone. Other people will have them, but not from this game.

Trouble is, if I told you what it was, it would give away my true identity, and questions would be asked (or he would ask them).

Tell me more?!?

The quarterly newsletter contains a mixture of facts, articles and information about the History of the club. The articles are sometimes quirky but always provide a fascinating read. Preserving the history of the club is a vital task, IMO, and we have a bucketload of history to draw on!

There is space allocated at Flamer for a club museum and everyone in the Society is very excited about it.

£5 a year is a bargain, if only for the newsletter, but the chance to talk about Albion history and listen to the various speakers at the meetins is also a winner.
