Brighton & Hove Albion Collectors’ and Historians’ Society is pleased to announce that the annual Albion Collectors’ Fair and Auction, postponed because of the adverse weather conditions in December, has been rearranged for Sunday, 16th January 2011, the day following the Albion v Peterborough United match.
The popular event will take place in the Hospitality Suite at Withdean Stadium, with doors opening at 11am and the auction to follow at 1pm. Admission is free and light refreshments will be available. Enter via Gate 21 from the main car-park.
As usual there will be many stalls of Albion programmes, pictures, books, etc, for sale at low prices. Jack Straw’s Amex Stadium Countdown Calendar 2011 will be available if not sold out.
Visitors to the fair should check www.albionhistory.org.uk for any late announcements, especially in the event of any further adverse weather.
The website also carries details of all auction lots and how to bid. Please note that a number of items may be added to the original 56 lots, so keep checking.
Tim Carder, chairman of the Society which is providing the Albion museum at the Amex Stadium, commented:
“We are pleased to be able to rearrange this, our big fund-raising event of the year, and apologise for any inconvenience relating to the postponed fair.”
