Bobby Farrell

Free transfer from Dundee in 1928. Made 382 appearances for the Albion and scored 66 goals in the next 11 years. For much of the 1930s, he spent his summers as twelfth man and baggage master for Sussex County Cricket Club. He became landlord of a local pub, served in the RAF during the Second World War, and was still in the licensed trade at the time of his death in 1971 at the age of 65.
