Brighton and Hove Albion is to go into the community to try to prevent fans dying of cancer.
The football club has been chosen as one of five teams to take part in Ahead of the Game - Organise Your Defence.
The national scheme, part-funded by the government, aims to raise awareness of lung, bowel and prostate cancer in men aged 55 and older.
Albion in the Community has been awarded £20,000 to educate men about the three cancers.
The year-long pilot is being run by grassroots charity the Football Foundation.
Three home games will be dedicated to promoting awareness of the cancers, which will include health checks and advice from nurses and GPs.
The club will also visit Asda in Brighton Marina to pass the message on to shoppers.
