Been done to death before and I'm sure Dazo wiull be on to tell us all about the agro!

Great game, watched it all from the North. Best bit was Clakey's goal. On this Hilsborough anniversary I bet most football fans could see the potential for tradegy that fences would bring.

The win over top of the table Spurs, left Albion in 4th place. 4 points behind Bolton.

My 15th birthday - superb entertainment from the safety of the East terrace.

xept that as I recall (being stuck on the east terrace that day) Spurs broke down the gates and got into the back of the east terrace.

Don't recall much violnece there that day as we were all to tightly packed in to fight in the stand

Watched the 2nd half of that game from the roof of the tea hut on the East Terrace. How many Spurs fans were in with us? Great result but all a bit iffy on the terraces

Got there at 1pm that day to 'help' (get in free) my mate who helped match days in the West Terrace seated area (Bill, who often calls the phone in these days) We both worked in East Croydon back then and know a Spurs supporter at work who had told us that they had been buying up tickets for the North Stand and selling them on to the hoolie element so advice was to stay clear of there and the town centre the night before. So literally had a grandstand view of the events that took place that day. Only time I can remember the opposing supporters completely taking over the North Stand and causing the crush and overspill in the rest of the ground due to the amount of displacement from the North. It was good to win the game at least!

And the fuckers got in there early while we were still in the pub! OB just kept chucking out Brighton fans when we tried to take it back - too scared to try to clear out the Yids!

Watched from the safety of my season ticket seat in the West Stand. Was pretty hairy at times ,but once the footy took over from the aggro it was an exciting game.

I was in the north stand with my father and it was eerily empty. Then the spurs fans came in and started throwing rocks and stuff. The guy standing next to me fell down with a gash to the head and then we realised we had to get out of there. I remember being dragged out of the front of the stand by a policeman and being placed on the pitch next to Gary Williams (I think?). I then saw my father being lifted out of the stand and he came to find me. We were then ushered down the players' tunnel and I was taken back home on the train. I remember being to shaken up to speak but wanting to stay and watch the match. When we got home I switched on the radio and found we had won 3-1 and was upset I had missed it. I also remember being terrified that I wouldn't be allowed to go the Goldstone again - happily that didn't happen.
