a) why would or should pardew give a shit? and b) smith's f***ing awful anyway. has not scored one single solitary competitive goal for newcastle in about seven years.

I read that Newcastle have agreed to pay over £50k per week of his wages until the end of season.
He was in or around the England squad when he signed that contract.

Impressive signing for MK Dons but his career had so much potential when he broke into the Leeds first team at about 16 or 17 yrs-old and getting into the England team. He could have been an INCREDIBLE player but has just drifted along, happy to pick up his mega wages.
