Victor Bhanerjee's notebook
Rod Stewart type of flouncy/spikey hairdo.

A 'ladies man'.

Shortish. Quite mobile made good runs and laid he ball off well. Cool finisher

Didn't get to play as much as I would have hoped. Cattlin seemed to prefer Mike Ferguson and Dean Saunders.

Sumwun will come up with the stats.

I heard from a friend at the time that he'd been kicked out for being a little too light-fingered. This was also supposed to have resulted in an early exit from Everton. Quality player though.

I remember meeting him in a pub in Newhaven where he had digs, thoroughly decent he seemed. Once when walking along the Buckle between Seaford and Newhaven, I bumped into him, we spoke for a while and then without any warning he just legged it off in the style of Forrest Gump.:lolol: Very peculiar!

At work - probably
Wound up the Pompey fans a treat when being booed by the away support at the Goldstone - starting doing a 'wind up' motion at them - they hated it!!!

and after being caught offside more times than any other Rod Stewart lookalike told the Argus the reason he was always offside is that " you've got to buy a ticket to be in the lottery"

A former work colleague was an Estate Agent in Haywards Heath in the mid 80's and was an avid Cambridge Utd Fan (One of Biley's former clubs) it made his day when he came into the office looking for a house. He said he had a mucking fassive gold ring with AB on it - class!!

I heard a story that the club had refused him permission to open that bar and work in it hence his rather rapid departure from us. But then again it was only a rumour, and probably without substance.

I can remember bumping into him and Hans Kraay outside the Goldstone on match day and getting them both to sign my programme.
