Air Shows

I want to take the kids to an air show,does anyone know if Shoreham is any good?.I have also heard Eastbourne is good.There is also Dunsfold i think.
I think the Vulcan Bomber is appearing at Shoreham as well.

Shoreham is very good, although when the weather is good its exceptionally busy (which is why we watch from our garden or the dead lion )

I went to Shoreham last year and it was very good. The Vulcan bomber was due to visit but they had a technical problem and couldn`t get the safety certificate through in time. I do hope its there this year it really is spectacular.

Yes go to the Shoreham show it has all sorts there.

You have sadly just missed Biggin Hill which I get to watch for free. Let me tell you it was excellent.

Eastbourne is normally very good and is free again this year. Also being right on the sea front and near the town if you fancy a break from the planes then you have other things to do.

Also the Red Arrows like doing Eastbourne because it allows them to do their display at a height that all people can see in front of them instead of having to look up. This goes for the other displays as well.

The vulcan Bomber is great, have seen it many times on practice flights, especially last year on its first few test flights. I think the Blades are appearing at shoreham, the best aerobatics team. From what ive seen of their practices SPECTACULAR!

Juniors £10 or £8
Under 12's free if accompanied by paying adult.

Eastbourne is good, but a bit predictable. For fast jets they always have the pick of the RAF plus Dutch or Belgian F16s but I'd like to see some different stuff; French Mirages, American F15s, even Russian mig29s or su27s.
They did have a B1 a couple of years back though
