FFS, get in the real world. IF there is someone out there with money to burn, we would have to assume that he's NOT an albion fan. Therefore, he would say to himself, 'Great opportunity to buy a team in the championship, not much money required. Only drawback, capacity 7000 fans, might not get a new stadium. Needs a cash injection to fund quite a few new players. Yeah, great idea, lets throw a few million quid away, after all, that's what I've worked hard to build up.'

Can't you understand that we are better off with a chairman that is a genuine fan, rather than someone who is motivated purely for financial gain.

People don't invest in football clubs if they KNOW they are going to lose money, UNLESS they are real fans. DK has accepted help from other people when it's been offered, and done a f***ing good job to get us from Gillingham in Div 3 and nearly the conference league, to the championship, playing in Brighton, 3 promotions (1 relegation).

This is my point, say DK is MANAGING the club badly, making poor BUSINESS choices, but resign means SOMEBODY ELSE HAS TO BUY AND BANKROLL the club.

This is not ridiculous, because when we wanted Archer and Stanley out, local businessmen like DK stuck their head above the wall and said I'll buy in. Nobody has said that yet, to remove means replace, and to replace means Money down drain.

So a list of Brighton fans with 20 or so million to give away would be nice.

The argument falls down without an alternative.

DK is not sackable, there needs to be an alternate to buy DK's share of the club. Therefore until you have the vaguest clue as to who this might be, there is not an argument to have. DK stays in charge.

As for Chelsea and Roman, no they didn't know who he was and therefore there would have not been any arguments about whether "Ken Bates should go." As soon as Roman appeared it becomes a discussion, until then it's pie in the sky.

IMHO DK has done, and continues to do a fantastic job. Anyone saying 'he should go to let someone with real money to come in' just has to expand on it. Are you really saying that there are potential investors out there that DK is ignoring?

If that was the case they would surely go to the press like that Morgan fella in Liverpool, just in the hope that there would be some sort of fans campaign to help them get into the club.

Without such a story in the press my only conclusion can be that there is no-one. Therefore there is no argument to be had about DK staying or going.

We're not likely to get any new investors whilst we are at Withdean. once Falmer gets the go ahead *touches wood* the investors will come out of the woodwork as they will all want to jump on the band wagon.

only time will tell. Who in their right mind would plough money into a club that may not have a future. In our case until we get Falmer *touches wood* no amount of money would make us a secure investment.

i don't think you have to worry about norman not making any money how much money do you think he gets from club appearances abroad eg ibiza? 2 of the largest clubs in august he makes a mint

At Fatboys level the cash will be big, yes. But how big? A *good* DJ here will get four hundred a night, if they're incredibly lucky. And thats playing to 1K+ people. "Superstar" DJ's like Fatboy, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten get much much more obviously.

Theres remix fees too, but they aren't huge these days.
