Couldn't see another thread.

Anyway underway and a late pen for Egypt (very long VAR) looks to have saved an embarrassing start against Mozambique.

Next up Chris Hughton's Ghana v Cape Verde.

C'mon you Black Stars.

Assume they didn’t name Lamptey in squad? I noticed Adingra is in the Ivory Coast one so they’re expecting him to be fit for latter stages…

In fact, who do we have there - just Adingra? And is Mitoma actually at the Asian cup right now?

In a selfish world the sooner Ivory Coast and Japan go out the better. I think this is their potential returns to us, injury pending:

Ivory Coast/Adingra -

Out in group stage - could be back for Luton
Out in R16 - could be back for Palace
Out in QF - could be back for Spurs
SF and beyond - should be back for Sheff U

Japan/Mitoma -

Out in group stage - could be back for Luton
Out in R16 - could be back for Palace
Out in QF - should be back for Spurs
Out in SF - could be back for Spurs
Final - should be back for Sheff U

Hopefully Ghana (Ayew), Mali (Bissouma), Senegal (Sarr) and South Korea (Son) go far so those players are missing when we play their sides.

Shambolic cock up at the back by Ghana gifts the game to Cape Verde in injury time.

Oh dear.

Chris Houghton was attacked by a Ghanaian fan at the team hotel no reports of any injuries.
He should probably just retire and enjoy having had a good career

I thought they were both injured anyway?

Guinea are beating Cameroon. Wasn't expecting that, but Guinea now down to 10 men, so Cameroon should get back into it.

What happened to Ghana, Cape Verde are tiny nation? Big shock, surely Chris will come back fighting after that result. Where can we watch these matches?
