missed out on promotion again tonight by losing 2-1 away to Fisher in the play off semi final with the help of a ref who seemed to be in cloud cuckoo land.

Will Packham was sub keeper for Fisher. Judging by the Fisher keepers performance Packham really must be terrible.

There was no second leg - which was a shame as the way they came back at the end and got the "away goal" they could easily have won the second leg.

Shame.

Shame. I wanted AFC to rise up as fast as possible and for MK Dons to go down as fast as possible. :nono:

Eh? ???

Please elaborate Beeney.....

Think he is commenting on the fact that someone on here posted that AFC Wimbledon fans are both very cocky and arrogant... assuming they have a god given right to get into the football league

*this post does not reflect the poster's views or that of the NSC masses*

Hmmm. I would suggest that they do have more of a right to a football league place than those charlatans from Milton Keynes.

I've been to AFC W games and found their fans to be no different to any others, with one thing that specifically marked them out being a desperation to see MK fail, which I share completely.

Thank god, bunch of pretentious fools!

Thats a shame BG, in general AFC W fans are and have been totally supportive of BHA's campaign to return to their true home of Brighton from Gillingham and the campaign for Falmer. As they have been for Fans United.

I've never heard one of them make any kind of adverse comment about Brighton

Don't get me wrong, i haven't been to any AFC Wimbledon games or met any fans.... but i do remember reading that on here as it surprised me at the time.

I'm only guessing why Beeney said that...... could be he just f***ing hates Londoners !!!!

Damn it, hopefully AFC Wimbledon can go out and win the league next year. Was it their first season in the Ryman League?

Yes it was and quite honestly they were beaten last night by the better team it seems. Their fans on their board are already predicting a possible season of struggle next year and the idea that they think they deserve a league place is laughable. Sure there are some, just as there are no doubt some Rushden fans who think the same and should the worst happen on Saturday there will be some Stockport fans who feel the same. What they, and many others, are sure of is the fact that franchise don't deserve anything.

Not even the shit of my shovel.

They are in the Surrey Senior Cup final again a week this Friday in Woking, playing Kingstonians.
