Colwill, Caicedo and Mac Allister were on a different level and some.

CM options of Lallana, Gilmour, Baleba (at this stage), Milner are embarrassing. I won't include Gross because he's still a great ACM, unluckily he's now playing with grandads or snails.
Gilmour is embarrassing? Have you watched him?

As part of a collective with the wheelchair olympics options of Lallana and Milner, yes. An embarrassingly slow CM.

Regarding the player -a neat passing game and tenacious. But painfully slow, never scores, can't defend, an assist every 20 PL games. He might thrive with two quality pivots behind him, but the club won't shell out that money.

Really feels like TB/Barber should be on the blower this evening arranging terms for RDZ's departure. Him and his cronies out with immediate effect, Crofty to take over until the end of the season, and let's crack on with securing a top quality manager. Why even bother dragging out the inevitable for another few weeks?
'Crofty'? Please not. Have you seen him talk about going for dinner with RDZ. He literally ejaculates talking about how much he RDZ loves football. Thick as pig ****.

Tactics. You have to adapt to how the opposition react to how you play but also to what you have available player wise

If Rob Edwards, O'Neil or Iraola had replaced RDZ mid season, with the no spend policy continuing, I'd be interested to know how they could've stacked up some goals and PL wins. Of course, we could adopt a low block of 9 players being camped out in deep defence for 90 minutes as with Hughton, relying on a couple of pacy forwards to destroy them on the counter. But Pedro, Enciso, Solly and Mitoma have largely been out. Perhaps it would've worked?

I have my doubts with our squad quality eg error prone CB's.

Play both Bart and Jason in goal every game. One to catch the ball and the other one to pass it out.
It may have helped, but on the other hand…… if not, stick Jason up front.😁

I guess we will have to just disagree on the De Zerbi situation. I think its tactics and you think its personnel. Thanks for the sensible input

Keepers gotta save that third goal, but when De Zerbi keeps switching between the keepers how’s he supposed to build up his confidence and improve his game
