Just so as you know like, Zef's band THe Ant Hill Mob, will be supporting the Blockheads at the Marquee on the Beach, next Friday night as part of the Adur festival. (Friday the 8th of June)

I, of course will be there, in fine support following the procurement of a family member to babysit!! Yippee!!!

Adur Festival

You won't be disappointed :drink:

the blockheads were at the Black Horse festivel and they are great musicians but the songs are souless without a good vocal delivery. If they get a guest vocalist like Wreckless eric in for the night they are great.

That said I am dsure the gig will be great because your relatives band are playing: creep

Not only were the Blockheads there Stinky - their roadies from YEARS ago made the trip from France for a little reunion.

I heard Wilko Johnson stole the show on Friday.

"Forget ‘Hit me with Your Rhythm Stick’, these are real musicians who from the first pounding notes they play will have you moving and shaking till you or they drop."

Hmm - not all that respectful of the original (and seasoned musicians, as I understood it) Blockheads of Ian Dury fame.
