If it was against anyone other than arsenal, and van persie...... he should be banned for a long long time, terrible.
But it was against arsenal and it was van persie...... so good on him!!
Poor bloke, mother's a whore apparently.

Don't fall off this horse (like you fall with so many others, snigger :lolol: ) US.
van Persie is an exceptional twat, and probably a bit butch as well.
It's hard to say he didn't have a shoeing coming his way, and Adebeyor would know that better than us.
Let's just assume that RvP did deserve studding good and proper, and just enjoy the moment.

 quality post

Nice one Wankabeyor

It later emerged that a match steward needed hospital treatment after being hit by a flying object in the wake of Adebayor's goal celebration.

Important win for Man City - Hughes
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "The steward received a head injury from a flying object which appeared to have been thrown from the direction of the away end.

"We were told the steward was unconscious for a few seconds before being taken to hospital and later discharged."

And who threw the object?

I am amazed people are laughing at the celeration and thinking him doing gbh on VP are not bad, yes. f*** off making it personal. Why are the so many cocksuckers on NSC. Yes disagree by why make it personal every f***ing time

I am amazed that some people can get so worked up so early on a Sunday morning.

Don't the Arsenal crowd have ANY part in this? Surely their behavior is dispicable enough to deserve some parallel punishment meted out - if Adebeyor is to be punished then so should they be.

I am not saying that the Arsenal Fans involved should not be punished. Just don't understand the views of some people on this board that think it is 'funny'.

The way that he sprinted all the way up the pitch I believe he had pre planned to celebrate in front of the fans.

If the shoe was on the other foot and it was an ex player of ours celebrating in front of our fans like that then I don't suppose the majority on here would see the funny side.

This thread has binfested itself as ever but it just amazes me ANYONE can defend the stamp. I mean, honestly, it was his FACE he RAKED his studs down. It's disgraceful. I don't want to over reacted with what ifs, but that could blind someone. How anyone can say van persie DESERVED to be attacked is a fool.

Adebayor is not the most likeable of footballers. His actions after his goal were unhelpful. However, what's his offence? Getting a bit back on the Arse supporters? Running the length of the field is not an offence. He's entitled to be on the field. Arse supporters are not entitled to be on the pitch, to try to get on the pitch, nor cause injury to a steward, nor to throw objects on the pitch. Those acts are criminal offences and unless anyone wants to argue that running the length of the pitch is always likely to cause a breach of the peace, then he's not been that bad.

If players react to fans taunting (Cantona, Drogba throwing something back at the fans) they are held accountable for their actions. Fans should be held to the same standard, if they react to a player taunting, it is the fans that hold responsibility for their own action.

No player no matter what you think of them "deserve studding good and proper,"
I could never enjoy seeing harm come to another human being. Could you ?

If you have this mentality should you really be a steward? Especially if you felt in the course of your duty, a "customer" deserved something.
