Agreed

Mickey has struggled, for sure, he doesn't have the right mix of players, and doesn't have cover in vital areas, and can't seem to find the tactics to bridge the gap. He has made mistakes this season, and been big enough to admit to them. Nevertheless, he is an experienced manager and given a chance in January, I believe he can do what is necessary.

We've had countless manager changes in the last few years, and where has it got us? Nowhere, that is where. It's time to actually back someone for the long term instead of cutting them down prematurely. Sacking Dean Wilkins was wrong, and sacking Mickey would also be wrong.

Yes it pissed me off watching us getting outplayed yesterday, yes it's clear to me that several players need to be culled, but lets give a manager the chance to really build something for the future, even if we go down.

Spot on. I still rate Micky and will still back him. People moan and groan, and put up shit polls. Adams is here for the long haul, so we need back him and back the bloody team. It's down to the players as well. They are under performing and know it. We must accept some tough times.

Yes and Wikins recognised two that had to go in Mayo and Hart, but this master manager decided to bring these player's back instead of using their salaries to further strengthen his squad. So if he now adds these two to his cull in January that will be a master stroke?
I am sorry I just don't agree with your assesment that he knows what he is doing.

We could do with a Mayo. Someone who is experienced in defence.

temporary answer to the left sided problem for me

and as for Micky , I hope you are right - I was delighted , as I'm sure everyone was when he came back and I really don't want him to go on the back of this and all the earlier sucess to be forgotten

Not everyone was delighted with his return, as you will see from many of the posts from the day he came back.

Would like to say he will but where is the proof that he can or will? How long do you give him to show that he will turn it around end of Jan/Feb end of the season?

That's fine, I can understand that. I am willing to back him whatever happens because I happen to believe that backing the manager will reep rewards in the longer term.

...very true, some of us still had a bitter taste in our mouths about the way that DW was forced out of the club, plus the older ones amongst us remembered how successful Mullery was in his second spell.

Wow! As refreshing as a mountain stream...

Totally agree with the original sentiment within this thread.

Although I'm sure it'll be ruined by the usual negative, repetitive, nonsense which oft prevails herein these days.
