If the club has any intention of getting rid of Adams, why is DK quoted in yesterday's programme as follows: "we've got faith in his ability to do the job which we brought him back to Brighton to do." The only way that MA is leaving is resignation. I heard something along the lines that the Blooms haven't got much faith in his signings, so are keeping the purse-strings rather tight at the mo. Maybe that might lead to Micky deciding to quit? Bit of a long shot though....

That makes perfect sense, although if that does end up being the case is does unfortunately give those who thought the comings and goings of last season were one of the inspired moments in Albion history a get out clause.

Yeah, it's not like you often hear chairmen or board representatives give their manager the vote of confidence then firing them shortly afterwards, is it?

What would you expect him to say, really?

The only way Micky Adams will quit, is it the fans turn on him on mass.

He is barely managing to stumble his way through interviews at the moment, and I think if the fans gave him serve grief for a few games, he would lose it in an interview when questioned about it.

That said however, wouldn't it be brilliant if he did walk Monday.

At least then he could leave the club with an tiny bit of his status from the first time round intact.

Out of interest, what do Bloom Snr and Jnr 'do' that make them the Albion money-men? Read somewhere that BLOOM Jnr was a professional gambler....is that true?

Er...because it would be very unusual for a chairman to use the official club programme to say "the manager isn't delivering the results we expected and if he doesn't win today then he'll be sacked on Monday"

Yeah, Tony Bloom is a pro poker player. I think he also had an online betting company or something... Not sure what Ray Bloom does but he's been around the club a long time.
