I was not happy he came back, then I got all enthusiastic on the back of some new signings but after the dross served up for 4 home games on the trot I really feel we've done a Mullery with Adams and he should go asap. I want a team that entertains not one that is clueless and is happy to play hoof ball and is unable to break defensive teams down. I wish we'd gone for Danny Wilson

I've seen very little this season to suggest we have the management to get us out of this division.
Hope to be proved wrong, but wasnt happy to see Wilkins go, on current showing the team has gone backwards

In...for now.

If we're not challenging (i.e. in or around the top 10) by Christmas / New Year though, it could be a different story.

What he said... only I'm still not convinced Wilkins had done anything worthy of the sack.

Hart's shirt,

with all respect - do you not think that you have seen
enough evidence to suggest that there is no way in a million
years we are going to do anything with the squad we have?

IN. Although the pressure is now most definitely on, I think. Wilkins on results alone was harshly dealt with so the bar has been set high for Adams. It's only seven games into the season but four poor home performances culminating in today's abdication of duty against nine men leaves micky in a dodgy position I think.

The squad we had last year finished one place outside the playoffs. I think everybody would agree that on paper, our squad is a fair bit stronger this year. So....

Following on from Harty's comments about Adams out is claptrap and the current guy on the phone in, can I be the 1st to say I'll eat humble pie in spadeloads if Adams turns it round. I hope he does but he's taking this team backwards at the moment imo. How long do we give him to do it? A season?

Adams is an old has been and should never have got the job anyway[/QUOTE

Agreed, he did f*** all after Brighton! I was hoping this would be a glorious return but deep down knew that it was a step backwards. Although the players have to take part responsibilty for todays performance! Playing against a team two players down they should easily be able to pass the oppo out of the game! Wankers!

If we don't improve or hold our own Wilkins sacking was wrong Knight and the board have taken a hell of a gamble with this one.

I am with the great John Byrne on this one.

Ps i do not want to see Mickey Fail but i do feel he is a one trick pony where as Wilkins had more tricks up his sleeve, so all in all it was a backward step i only hope King Mick can turn it around for the boards sake.

Said it at the time and i will say it now,Sacking Wilkins and bringing in Adams could make Knight look a complete twat.

Don't be retarded. You can't change the manager now. He needs and will get time.

Nice to see opinions of Wilkins rising now though. I'm pleased so many of the people that greeted Adams like the messiah have seen the light.
