Adams was offered this job - and took it on - as a long term project. It's quite obvious that he is spending this season assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the side. It's equally obvious that his view is that there are a number of significant weaknesses. He's plugging the gaps with loan players, some of whom may win longer term contacts.

But eventually he'll have his clear-out. Then he will create the team that can take us to promotion - and, more importantly, keep us in the Championship, once we've got there.

Anyone who wants all of this achieved in one year is CRAZY.

Keep the faith. It'll come good in time for Falmer.

Adams IN.
It was the player's fault today, adams could not have done anything more, made the right subs, and hopefully got into the players and gave them the f***ing teacup treatment at half time and full time.
Most of our team let him, and more imporatantly the fans, down today, big time.

I'm sure Ramos at Spurs, Robson at Sheff U (or wherever else he's been) and Ternant and Malpas were all offered their jobs as long term prospects but circumstances dictated otherwise. If you're saying that this is a 'look and see' season then what was the point of signing Hawkins, McLeod and Livermore before the season has started? If we lose against Hartlepool and continue our lacklustre performances in the league (I see the Leicester and Millwall games as the exception rather than the rule) then I would give him until the Shrewsbury game. If we lose that then we'll be in the deep brown stuff with nothing else to look forward to than a bitter relegation struggle.

We all thought that moving to Falmer on the back of a promotion was the best thing that could happen, but nobody thought that it would be from League 2 to League 1.

Micky in - he will save us from relegation and rebuild next season by having a massive clearout in July.

72% seems pretty conclusive.

I'd be interested to know how many voted in because we can't afford to sack him rather than because they think he's the right man for the job?

Anyone?

It could also prove that empty vessels make most noise.

save us from relegation! We shouldn't be anywhere the relegation zone so would think that is a huge problem to start with

Or that some people struggle to accept alternative opinions or construct arguments, so always resort to one liners or cliches

We did have a fairly sizeable clearout (although recruited two of them back) and signed some excellent players with Championship experience. The bare minimum should be well away from the relegation trapdoor and I do not want to hear this cock and balls stuff about 'saving us from relegation'.

We should be performing much much better than we are and the whole management team are showing limitations in tactics and motivational skills. We have produced some excellent displays this season, but some of the worst for a long long time.

Adams IN for now, but things must improve. Where is our first team coach?

I was being sarcastic after devoting 18 hours of Saturday to follow the Albion
p.s. for the other 6 hours I was asleep between midnight and 6 am.
