Did the last 25 mins yesterday mark the first hint of a return to the type of football we last saw under Micky Adams - ie, exciting, creative, atmospheric, etc? It was certainly the best football I've seen us play for ages. Well done the lads.

I haven't seen any live football for ages but I don't think we are anywhere near the passing and movement of that Div 3 championship side.

Check out the DVD for that season and see how Rogers conducts the midfield, IMO like. I appreciate also that it is a division below where we are now but I'm not sure I enjoyed watching a Brighton football team as much as that one.

I take your point - sometimes I think they're great, sometimes naff. I hadn't done the balloon thing this season, so I thought I'd give it another go. It may need us to draw Man Utd away in the cup to persuade me to do it again!

That's the key issue...we haven't had many players who run at defenders with pace in recent years, wheras before we had Brooker and Hart. Who have we had since? Carole?
