Isn't it a bit hypocritical (sp) that nearly everyone who wants Adams out has been saying that you should never go back, but who is the man they want to replace him...

ANOTHER ex manager!

And who said that Wilkins would want to come back? If I was Wilkins, Id never have anything to do with this club again!

Possibly, but Wilkins spent twenty years at the club and I would imagine he would want us to be doing well (to some degree at least).

Well I wouldn't blame him in the slightest if he wanted to see us fall flat on our arse.
Which we are currently proceeding to do, in fairly spectacular fashion.

Or he could be laughing up his sleeve at the fact that the team he took to 7th is now three points outside the bottom 4.

Remind me - where did the Albion finish in Wilkins' first season in charge?

We finished 7th at the end of (virtually) his 2nd full season so judge Micky in May 2010 rather than getting on his back after he's only been here 5 minutes FFS!!!!

Not that I want Adams out but he has to sort it out soon. However, if he did go, what about Martin Keown as a gamble. At least he would sort out the defence!!!!

Who's getting on Adams's back ?
All I've done is float the idea that Wilkins could quite justifiably be viewing this current situation at the club with something of a wry smile, and after the way he was treated, I wouldn't blame him.

Adams might well turn it around and I hope to christ he does. But as it stands right now, the facts are staring us in the face. We have gone backwards since Adams arrived.

Thank god, a sensible poster!!

Yes we did finish 7th last season, but we were near the relegation zone at Christmas and had a good run. It's October and we're comparing the managers already.

Correct. We were 17th in February last season and noone seemed to panic, so why is everyone Micky's back because we're 17th in October now?

Because we've won 2 in 10, we've been shit in EVERY home game, we can't beat the worst team in the league, the tactics are a disgrace, the team selections baffling and the football SHOCKING, perhaps?

Yes it's frustrating, yes it's by no means what we want to see, but Adams out?? Ludicrous and unfair. Table-wise they're the worst team, but today they weren't, they came with a plan for a point at least, for many periods of the game they had 10 men behind the ball and made it very difficult for us. Get things into perspective, it WILL get better, onto the next game.

Bollocks, complete pile of bollocks.

Wilkins inherited a shambles bereft of any idea, basically staring at the abyss in hopelessness. Certainly he was learning as he went, as the dodgy substitutions showed, but it was Dean's FIRST JOB at managing a league club first team.

Adams inherited a side with belief, useful players notching up some wins and playing with purpose. His experience stretches back many years, and back with us again he's spent dosh and has picked up some high-profile loan signings as well.

You give him slack if you want, and it looks like there are others - but this is the worst since Hinshelwood....and only marginally better than his attempt (he was a rookie as well, don't forget)
