A tale of two Albion full-backs, or what?!

Impressed by both Harding and Virgo in first and (most of) second leg, but only one hero out of them at the end - left-back owes the right-back a drink (or several)! (And might as well toast the centre-backs while they're at it. . .)

He had a great game - our best player even before he got the goal. Has struggled over the last few weeks with his distribution but Guy and Danny took the pressure off him a bit by giving more of the ball at the back to Harding, allowing Adam to concentrate on his defensive work. He was absolutely brilliant and at the end was one of the few who managed to drag what a was a poor Albion display back, somehow, god knows how!

I don't know HOW the f*** he managed it, but WELL DONE THAT MAN!

Those absolute c*nts on 5 live Steve Claridge+Steve Wilson were just 'looking forward to a sold-out final between Bristol City +Swindon' and then VIRGO STEPS FORWARD - MAN THE LEGEND!!

UP THE ALBION!!

some of the players seemed not to give a shit. with the exception, i believe, of virgo, harding and hart. absolotely delighted for virgo, how good would that be? scoring a last minute equaliser for the team you support, and then getting a penalty in the shootout

Bizarre how the two best chances before that went to Hinshelwood, then it was Virgo who got himself in the ideal position for the equaliser!
Thought Iwelumo, after doing a thankless task very very well on Sunday, was poor tonight.
And feared for his penalty, but he certainly did that right, very emphatically. Like all the penalties. Virgo's especially!

I thought Iwelumo was poor today. He seemed the weak link in the side.
