Thank god its not Robbie Savage.
That bit is a good listen. He's also on the BBC Albion Unlimited podcast this week, I'd recommend it, very good listen.
He was 'OK' apart from the drum bollocks and he let his guard drop once in describing the new fan zone as a 'new profit centre'.....That bit is a good listen.
But how many times did you cringe listening to the Simon Cowell soundalike, BOXPARK 'Albion fan' bloke?!
Yep, too much love for Palace as far as I'm concerned, gave it away that he wasn't a true Albion fan. And the constant overly friendly use of first names - Tony, Paul, Norman - yuck. And when he started talking about feeling like a football hooligan at the away European games - cringe! Sounded like someone who had just started going to football in the last couple of years and he sounded too much like Simon Cowell. Got a feeling if Charlton were in our position now he'd still be a season ticket holder there. He was 'OK' apart from the drum bollocks and he let his guard drop once in describing the new fan zone as a 'new profit centre'.....
Oh gawd listened to that yesterday…..praising the support that Palace and Arsenal get…..wanting drums at the Amex (sorry but no!)…and other cringeworthy stuff imoThat bit is a good listen.

Oh yes, I agree with you, it was just hard to listen to! Rugby fan is a great description! These people are very different to the average fan though, and to be fair they need to be, I’m not sure PBOBE would be much use to BHA if he was constantly on the beers and offering out the away end. When he talks about allowing drinking in seats I’m guessing he is at worst 1901 and probably won’t get beer soaked when we score….. struck me as a classic rugby fan who would like to turn the football match day into that. If him cosying up to our board gets the fan zone built then I don’t really care.
I was toying with messaging him to discuss the new alcohol free area at TwickenhamThese people are very different to the average fan though, and to be fair they need to be, I’m not sure PBOBE would be much use to BHA if he was constantly on the beers and offering out the away end. Glad it wasn’t just me. I almost started a thread about him yesterday. That bit is a good listen.
