I've posted a few times on here that I doubt the wisdom of making someone one of our highest earners seemingly because of an assumption he would take a coaching job and be good at it rather than for what he was offering on the pitchYes assumed he would be a shoe in to join us in a coaching position but assume he has a better offer.
Not according to RDZ, his team mates or the club who offered him another contact. His experience will be missedGreat news. Stealing a living here as a player.
This is another fault of RDZ ... His over loyalty to players , see Jason Steele and James milner.N

Aren't his family in Southampton?always put in a shift for us, and an excellent player on his day. we will miss his invaluable experience. i know RDZ wanted him to stay but tbh it feels like now is the right time to move on. wonder if he will continue playing or go into coaching, either way, sounds like he wants a move back closer to his family. maybe a years deal at somewhere like burnley would allow him to continue playing but be closer.
Absolute f***ing bollocksGreat news. Stealing a living here as a player.
