Should be disciplined but club should deal with it internally and release fairly generic press statement saying so.

The lads an idiot for drink driving. I don't think it should end his carreer at the Albion, but something should certainly be done. If he kicks up a srink about being fined/suspened etc, then maybe it would be in the clubs interest to get rid of him.

On the front of the Argus today, the story says "the club has warned him it will not tolerate any repetition", which basically means they have not really done anything. Mark McGhee says it was "out of character".

For a club with a high profile community standing - I do not think this is acceptable.

Discipline him, not a problem. Sack him ? Pointless.

At the very least he should be made to apologise for his behaviour and for setting a bad example.

It would send a clear message that the club doesn't tolerate drink drivers nor its players bringing the club into disrepute.

You might not agree with sacking him, but it would not be a pointless exercise if they did.

I personally think he should be sacked and probably would be in most other walks of life. He wont because he has no need to drive for his job - Its not like he is a sales rep. Then again if it was Bobby Zamora this time last year I would probably say that he should apologise for his behaviour and leave it at that.

You might say that that is the fickle nature of a fotty fan (and you would be right) but I'm sure Dick Knight is probably thinking along those lines as well. He was cursing his luck it wasn't David Lee.

spot on

at the end of the day we have to stand by what we stand for the.

the whole falmer campaign is based on the community spirit and hinsh's behaviour is completely unacceptable.

i dont want it to happen but would be wholly in support of his immediate sacking.

The poll should have contained a 'sack him' option.

There's silly and there's an irresponsible, dangerous, anti-social twat - you discipline the former, you sack the latter.
